The Specialist Psychiatric Care Team (SPOT) is a psychiatric intervention, treatment, and care that is based on the patient being at home. The purpose of SPOT is to provide more individualized care and treatment interventions in an outpatient form than what outpatient services can offer, or where the need for inpatient care around the clock is no longer relevant. The goal of SPOT is to reduce the need and time for inpatient care for patients within inpatient care and, if possible, avoid hospitalization for patients where the regular psychiatric outpatient care is insufficient. The target group within SPOT is patients whose care needs are greater than what outpatient clinics can offer in the regular operations, but who are still not deemed to require 24-hour care. Where outpatient interventions can facilitate and be a prerequisite for continued safe care at home.

Being employed within SPOT means working on behalf of doctors from inpatient care, outpatient care, and psychiatric emergency services. In the role of treatment assistant/nurse, you will meet patients who need acute and intensive psychiatric support. You work independently, in contact management, and in teams with treatment assistants, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, and doctors. You are responsible for providing good and qualitative treatment and care. Working hours are scheduled every day during daytime and evening hours.

We are now looking for a treatment assistant or nurse to join us at SPOT. The position is permanent, full-time, with a start date according to agreement.

Treatment Assistant/Nurse for SPOT, Sundsvall Job Responsibilities

The job responsibilities include, among other things:

• Home visits
• Telephone counseling
• Supportive conversations
• Clinic visits
• Digital patient meetings
• Collaboration with various stakeholders through collaboration meetings or SIP.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a trained treatment assistant or nurse
• Has work experience in psychiatric care and treatment
• Has a B driver's license
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Has good knowledge of English in speech and writing

It is advantageous if you

• Have further education in psychiatry
• Have work experience in psychiatry
• Have work experience with psychiatric comorbidity.
• Have additional language skills
• Have basic psychotherapy training level 1, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and case management
